The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson
Synopsis: The Bradley’s Family’s church produces an annual, and very predictable, Christmas pageant - hardly four-star entertainment. But when the authoritative director, Mrs. Armstrong, breaks her leg, the task falls to the inexperienced Mrs. Bradley who is suddenly faced with casting the rowdy Herdman kids - described by daughter, Beth, as “probably the most awful kids in history”. The Herdmans are a rough and tough group of siblings from the wrong side of the tracks, and they descend upon the pageant, determined to win all the lead roles for themselves and threatening anyone who gets in their way. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide head-on with the Christmas story.
